    • ~$20 for cookies to encourage socializing after grade-level concerts
  • Audit passed, next audit in DEC 2027
  • Staff talked about Recess Para options and asked for a decision at February's PASS meeting for planning purposes. Does not envy our decision around funding and our goal of being financially solvent.
    • None, $8100 minimum wage, full funding at current rate $15k+ are three options. Talked about if a parent was interested in the role (2.6h/day, would need to go through the process of becoming St. Vrain employee).
  • Dragon Dash inflatable race was a big hit. Will reuse next year in a different Inflatable Games competition fundraising goal.
  • KatieS made a form for requesting reimbursements from PASS:

Katie Coles Notes

January PASS Meeting Minutes - January 8, 2025 – 6:30-8:00 PM

Attendees:

  • Lori Peeples
  • Nancy Juth
  • Mario Lurig
  • Katie Shacklett
  • Katie Coles
  • Taunya Osbourne

Discussion/Topics:

  • Audit: Audit Passed (recommendation from auditor: Requestors should now use internal district forms for funding requests to PASS for easier documentation – Nancy has these)
  • Audit: Dropping Quickbooks software as it is not a recommended tool from auditor, and an internal excel is just fine.
  • Audit: Audits are every 3 years – Next Audit 2028 (TBD)
  • Audit: Auditor requested more signers on checks, some signers to not sign checks (goal is 5 individuals)
  • Coffee Bar: Taunya to stock coffee bar each month
  • Robotics Event: We will have a Venmo for those paying for food who do not have cash (Katie S. found a non-profit option for us)
  • Potluck meals for teacher conferences: Staff OK to have potluck style meals provided by families
  • Recess Para Options:
    1. Keep
    2. Hire someone at minimum wage
    3. Have no para and staff support recess – Feb decision needed by PASS group via vote. Lori’s estimate for min. wage option was ~$8,400 annually for 174 contact days.
  • Funding Request: Funded $40 to yearbook club for software to create yearbook cover
  • Events Pass visibility: Cookies to be served by PASS after grade-level performances
  • Events Pass visibility: Cookies to be served after Drama club performance(s) at the end of March, dates are TBD
  • Restaurant Nights: Feb/Mar/April restaurant nights planning – ideas: Danny’s tacos, Culver's, Freddy’s, DQ
  • Future Planning: Votes on president, treasurer, secretary in April
  • Future Planning: Ice Cream Social (when)
  • Future Planning: Early Dragon Dash Planning (when should we begin organizing)
