@Mario Lurig Will write a quick blurb and 1-minute video talking about the forum and how to sign up and send it to Nancy Juth.
The website Sanborn.club is a private online forum so parents can stay informed and contribute to PASS activity, even if they are are unable to attend monthly in-person meetings. Connect with other parents and lend your expertise and experience to making Sanborn an amazing place!

Dragon Dash
Dragon Dash prizes cost over $3000 and generated a lot of physical waste, mostly because:
- limo bus fixed cost
- pizza party off-site costs
- participation prizes
- too many prize tiers
Solution: @Katie Did a bunch of analysis and determined: Fewer prize tiers, big prize brought in-house. The focus should be on experiences over stuff.
One idea I had was to do paparazzi and red carpet at the on-site event to make it feel just as special as a limo ride.

Science Fair
@John to start this up for next year (24/25), with forming a committee (?) and gathering interest from parents in the Spring '24.
Vehicle Pick-Up and Street Crossing Safety
The district does not currently allow pick-up along more of the sidewalk. In the future, with growth, there may be options for expanding pick-up that ensures parents aren't occupying pick-up spots when kids aren't available for pick-up.
Crossing guards are not available unless they are hired due to liability. Areas of concern are 21st and Daley crosswalk upgrade by city to flashing stop button and 23rd and Francis.
Any VOLUNTEER to contact the city about this, preferably someone persistent?
